Crowder Reaches Milestone Ahead of Time on Trinity Road Pedestrian Tunnel
07.23.2018
Crowder Construction Company re-opened Trinity Road in Raleigh NC on July 19, 2018 - ahead of the August 1st deadline for the Trinity Road Pedestrian Tunnel project, which was awarded to Crowder by the NCDOT in December 2017. Crowder closed Trinity Road on March 5th to install a pedestrian tunnel under the road for patrons to use for the NC State Fair. Crowder crews worked numerous weekends to achieve this contract milestone. The project stakeholders include: NCDOT, NC Department of Agriculture, North Carolina State University and PNC Arena Management, which were all impacted by the road closure. All the stakeholders - as well as the traveling public - are happy to have the road back open. The project will be completed in September 2018.
